Are Social Automations included in the free version of Nelio Content?

Since I started using Nelio Content to manage social media on WordPress, I’ve saved hundreds of hours. I started with the free version on one site, then before I knew it had the plugin on many we manage. I like how social is being associated with content and at a glance I can see specific analytics. To get access to other social media platforms, I am now a subscriber. Well worth it in the subscriptions I’m saving not having many different tools. Now I’m going through my backlog of social that I know works, loading it up with improved hashtags and links. Very easy work.I recommend this solution for any content site who wants a cleaner social media workflow. My agency now recommends it for clients and uses it in-house. This plugin has become an essential part of my blogging routine. With it, I can schedule posts and social media messages in advance. I also use it to assign blogging tasks to dates on my calendar. I love the fact that they have very responsive support for the paid version. When I requested that the plugin authors create a way to allow me to easily assign a new default time for new posts, they did so in their next plugin update. (This review is for the paid version of the plugin.)

I’m using the plugin for some years now after I used a competitor, but this one increased the prices heavily, had a major technical fuck-up and no compensation for an outage of several days. So it was time to switch to Nelio, and even it was a bit challenging to adapt to the differences, I’m more than happy with its features. But how good a tool and the team behind it is, often occurs just when there is a problem. Had one with the authentication for Bluesky and using custom domain handles, so I wrote to the support. On the same day I got a reply, exchanged two or three e-mails and got a very uncomplicated solution. Should be just a natural thing, but in the world we are living this was awesome!

By far, the most professional developers I came accross when it’s about a Wordpress plugin. They’re quick to aknowlege issues, go into great details explaning what happened and how they fixed it. The strong point of Nelio Content is its wide array of integrations with various social media platforms. Write your post, highlight the most important sentences and the social media promotion is built automagically, much better than the alternatives. The project management capabilities are good enough for a small content team. It’d be great to have the possibility to create social media campaigns independent from posts (say, you need to promote a landing page outside of your main site) but that’s not a big blocker. Overall, I recommend Nelio Content over many other alternatives.
