Installation

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Add New in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for Simple Admin Columns
  3. Click Install Now
  4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
  5. Configure the plugin by going to the Settings > Simple Admin Columns options.

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Add New in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Upload area
  3. Select simple-admin-columns.zip from your computer
  4. Click Install Now
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
  6. Configure the plugin by going to the Settings > Simple Admin Columns options.

Using FTP

  1. Download simple-admin-columns.zip
  2. Extract the simple-admin-columns directory to your computer
  3. Upload the simple-admin-columns directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
  5. Configure the plugin by going to the Settings > Simple Admin Columns options.

Where is the *.pot file for translating the plugin in any language?

If you want to contribute a translation of the plugin in your language it would be great! You would find the *.pot file in the ‘languages’ directory of this plugin. If you would send the *.po file to me I would include it in the next release of the plugin.

In the beginning, I was looking at the reviews of this plugin, not many. After I saw only a few reviews, I was a bit skeptical about this plugin. Anyway, I decided to give it a try, and after I have installed and tested it, this plugin was just what I have been looking for: simple, intuitive, and easy to use. You can even undo changes you have made. Give it a try! you will love it.

It does few things but does them well. I needed to add a SORTABLE column for modified date for pages in my admin columns and this little plugin did the trick. Simple and perfect.
