Does everything you need to calculate taxes at checkout. Configuration is super simple. The plugin seems very stable and the account dashboard is very user friendly. Comparatively, I was an Avalara Tax customer for a year and was literally paying thousands in setup fees, transaction fees, and annual renewal fees. I also tested Woocommerce shipping and tax and found it OK but it requires Jetpack, which collects data about your site despite turning off all the other modules and is reputed to cause performance issues . If you just want tax calculations to work and a pay-as-you-go plan, Quaderno is probably right for you. I wish I had discovered it sooner. Also check out 1Team Software for shipping solutions.

I love Quaderno for calculating taxes. We have been using it for like 5 months together with WP Job Manager, WC Subscriptions, and Stripe now without any issue. I can recommend it. The plugin requires a paid plan to work (min. 29 $ per month). For us, it’s def. worth the investment.

Quaderno is awesome. It’s not free but don’t let that deter you! I’ve been using this app for years and it has saved me so much time! Customer service is on point with clear explanations and will help you with customization when needed. At the beginning of each month, I export all my invoices into one neatly generated PDF file for accounting. It is totally worth the price!

I wasted my time setting up and registering their service to find out I have to pay a tone!!! Grrr! Can’t you write it in the description that we need a paid account?!
